What creative, fun event can we host together?

WEdding shower fundraiser

Charli and Zack turned their wedding shower into a fundraiser for the charity of their choice. For the event, a mandala pattern was designed in their wedding colours and the bride, groom, and guests each painted a copy. Rather than bring presents, guests registered for the event and 50% of proceeds was donated to Charli and Zack's charity. The pattern is for sale here in the online shop, continuing to raise funds, and being dotted by folks around the globe.

Kids and Kindness Workshop

The children of Kingston, Nova Scotia came together to learn how to create dot mandalas and spread kindness. For the event, kids painted a dot mandala, thought of someone to gift their creation to, and wrote an accompanying letter for their kindness rock.

Kids Birthday Party

Turn your next party into a dotty event! The drying time between layers of your original designs or a pattern that all guests paint is the perfect break for treats, present opening, and other activities.

Fallon's 7th birthday was held at the Travelling Kindness Rocks Shop, Windsor, NS, where she painted her rainbow coloured rock, a keepsake from her special day.

Workshop Fundraisers

A workshop becomes a fundraiser when we partner together for your cause. For charities and other organizations raising funds, it's possible that our work together includes a pattern designed to represent your community. It can be part of the event(s) we host and also sold in the online shop to Dotters around the world to continue raising funds. For more details on workshop fundraisers, click here.

The Children's Wish Foundation mandala was painted in a workshop that raised money for the charity. The pattern is featured in Booklet 2, with global sales continuing to raise funds for the charity.

Community Mandala

A community mandala promotes pride and spirit of the community's people, history, and places. A mandala is designed to represent your community and then members come together to each paint a copy. This can enhance an existing festival or be a stand alone event. For more details on Community Mandala's, click here.

Inspired by the colours and meaning of the 8-point Mi'Kmaq Star, this mandala pattern was created at the request of the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board and taught to students throughout a number of schools.

The West Hants mandala was part of the Feel Alive! program that encouraged exploration of the region's businesses and activities.
