Join folks around the world to dot in celebration of Canada's 150th birthday!
This program and related patterns were created to not only provide each of you with beautiful mandalas to dot but to also inspire strengthening relationships between Canadians and our friends around the globe.
Read on for how you can participate.
Dot your copy of the Canada 150 mandala. Complete it on your own from where ever you are in the world or in a Canada 150 Travelling Kindness Rocks workshop. Below you'll find everything you need, including the step-by-step pattern instructions, corresponding tools, and supplies, for purchase. An instructional video guiding you through dotting your Canada 150 mandala will soon be available as well.
Take and Post Your Photo. The Canada 150 mandala symbolizes all of us who celebrate this milestone in Canadian history and work together to build strong, positive connections between countries. Now that your copy is complete, use it to celebrate Canada's birthday in a spirit-boosting pic and social media post. Visit the Post a Pic page for details.
Win Prizes. By posting your Canada 150 mandala photo to Travelling Kindness Rocks social media, your name is entered to win a free hard copy of Pattern Booklet 4, a collection of mandalas representing Canada's provinces and territories. Draws will take place on July 1, October 1, and January 1.
Support Charities. 150 cents from each purchase of the Canada 150 mandala pattern, including any combo packages, will be donated to a charity that both supports Canadians and encourages Canadians connecting positively with others around the world. At the end of 2017, proceeds will be divided evenly between two organizations: Canada World Youth and Special Olympics Canada.
Support the Journeys of the Travelling Kindness Rocks. As with all Travelling Kindness Rocks programs and purchases, your participation in the Canada 150 program also supports our founding initiative, helping to pay the postage of the free Travelling Kindness Rocks that journey to specific people around the world to bring a gesture of kindness when it is needed. Visit the TKR page to learn more about this program.
